In 1984 Atelier had a very special opening that included a life drawing class in the window, The exhibit was EROTICA, a group show of work from the figure. When the Newton Police showed up the sergeant was nice enough to say,
"We don’t mind the life drawing class, but since you have no shades in your window, You are stopping traffic."

In 1986 Atelier featured a Punk Band at an opening of Wayne Strattman neon art. This opening was cutting edge in the Newton Centre neigborhood.

In 1990 Julian Landa and D’angelo Alfredeagelo featured Beatles surrealism and recently the tea cup series.

In 1999 Elliott Landy , the legendary Woodstock photographer broght his Bob Dylan and Janis Joplin photos, along with Lenny Eisenberg the Jimi Hendrix photographer.
